Why Do I Write Smut?

One of the many blogs I subscribe to is ERWA for writers of smut and we've been discussing why we write porn. To me it's a fascinating subject, both porn and writing!

Some people write to "spec" or in other words, be given a topic and produce a story about the topic. This is also similar to writing to a "market" or picking out a target audience and writing to that audience.

Others like me, write what personally turns you on and you hope that others enjoy the same smut as you do. From a practical sense, if you write a story that you can beat off to then it saves you money from having to buy a copy of Penthouse or Hustler and read Letters to the Editor (I only read the articles and never look at the pictures!). LOL

I just finished reading “Girls Only: College Days” by Selena Kitt and that reminded me why she is one of my favorite smut writers. Selena is one of the few writers (men or women) who write actual porn in my opinion. You only have to get past the copyright notice before someone is getting laid. None of those vague descriptions either, Selena dives right in and is equally happy eating pussy or riding a big cock. Her descriptions put you right into the action and if you’re not careful, you’ll probably get your tongue wet.

College Days is about two college girls who show up at a Frat party after one of the girls catches her boyfriend’s video of a young girl taking care of him. Suitably pissed, they walk into the Frat house and are mistaken for two girls who were hired to put on a show for the boys.

Dressing up in the Laura Croft outfits left for the girls, they decide to make the boyfriend jealous by putting on a girl-on-girl show for the frat boys. Their outfits include video cameras to record everything they see and touch. The kicker is that the video is being viewed at the frat house where her cheating boyfriend is, with all his buddies.

Needless to say that he comes unglued as he and his friends watch his girlfriend and her girlfriend on TV putting on a show. This is all girl-on-girl with plenty of juicy scenes as the two girls take care of each other, time after time.

It’s really good and I must say it took extra Lysol to get my keyboard cleaned off!

My Smashwords Interview Is Now Published

You'll probably note that the interview is pretty generic and vanilla as I write graphic hard-core smut and didn't want to push the envelope too much. If anyone has an questions, I'll be glad to expound on my blog which is marked as adult and NSFW.

Basically I've been writing smut for about two years and really enjoy it. My work typically involves continuous sexual escapades and you don't have to read for 15 minutes before someone gets laid. In real life, my wife and I are swingers and as such we witness or become involved in a lot of sexual situations that the average person never sees.

Cuckolding: A Night At The Bar (24,500 Words) has taken off with a bang. After only being out for several weeks, if you search for “Cuckolding” at SmashWords, it has ranked number 2 for the last couple of weeks.

The story involves a married couple, whose husband is slowly coming to grips with being a cuckold and having a slut for a hotwife. Then one night, they stop in a neighborhood tavern for a drink and his wife spots a group of young virile college boys.
